Landmark Wholesale member Vitality Group, which is based in north London, has acquired Stephens Wholesale of Dartford in Kent
Vitality said the acquisition would enable it to expand and improve its services, and that Stephens would benefit from Vitality's technological experience in the sector.
Nikky Edden, director of Vitality, said: "In pursuing our ambitious growth plans the acquisition of Stephens makes Vitality one of the UK's largest wholesalers of toiletries, household goods, OTC medicines and baby products and will enable us to expand and improve our fully automated service to our customers."
Stephens has been in operation for almost 20 years, serving the south of England.
Work has already begun to integrate both businesses and to ensure that customers and suppliers are not affected.
