With wholesalers increasing their focus on the catering marketplace, this year's Catersummit is attracting a steady stream of registrations from both distributors and suppliers.
This is the big foodservice forum presented annually by the Federation of Wholesale Distributors.
The event will be held at the Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth, near Warwick, on October 2 and 3, under the theme of "Are You Being Served?"
Platform appearances by top wholesalers and suppliers (see page 18) will ensure a vigorous debate on current issues covering a marketplace which is becoming increasingly competitive.
Peter Judge (DBC), Ian Crawford (3663) and James Armitage (Brakes) will present papers from the higher profile specialist national wholesalers and delegates can look forward to their vigorous analysis of the current and future prospects for the industry.
The pre-conference dinner on October 2 will again be provided by a team of chefs from the Nestlé 2006 Toque d'Or competition.
Who will win the Pritchitts/ProWholesaler Telesales Achiever competition with cash prizes of £3,000? Who will win the Catersummit Cup for Innovation - a prestigious award for suppliers?
The answers will be provided at the dinner - be there.
