Thorworld Industries has launched a new low cost economy model (Type 7) mobile yard ramp.
The economy model ramp provides a slightly shorter and lighter weight, alternative to its existing deluxe models (Types 5/6). The economy ramp is available in 7,000 and 10,000kg capacities and has an overall length of 11.5m and useable width of 2.25m.
The ramp has been designed for fast, efficient and cost-effective loading and unloading of trailers and containers by forklift truck where there is no loading dock. The ramps are solidly built with a steel superstructure, a serrated open grid deck that provides traction in all weather conditions and a hand operated hydraulic pump to raise them to the required height. They come with a built-in tow bar, allowing them to be quickly and easily moved around by forklift truck.
