Makro Leeds customer Christopher Maughan has driven away a new van for his catering business after winning a competition set up by the cash and carry company.
Manager of family business Maughan’s Caterers in West Yorkshire, Christopher is a regular visitor to Makro’s Leeds store and was delighted to have won.
“I entered the competition in November last year and totally forgot about it, so was amazed when I found out I had won. I’ve never won anything before, let alone something of this size, and the new van will come in very useful for our regular trips to Makro.”
The competition marked the launch of Makro’s catering magazine. Distributed to catering trade cardholders every quarter, the 64-page brochure aims to keep customers up-to-date with all the latest products and offers available in stores nationwide.
