Dundee-based CJ Lang & Son has announced management changes within its Martex cash and carry and foodservices delivered catering divisions.
Grant Scrimgeour, who has been with the company for 23 years, has been promoted to the position of cash and carry controller with effect from May 1, reporting to wholesale director Dick Smith.
He has wide experience of the wholesale operation, having started at Martex Dundee as general assistant, and moving through various posts to become general manager at Martex Perth in 1995.
In addition, Steven Irons, an area manager in the retail stores division, has been appointed general manager of Martex Perth, effective from March 6. Irons has been with CJ Lang since 1996 and worked in the cash and carry division before moving to the retail division.
Will Government proposals to ban the display of tobacco in retail premises damage the wholesale sector?
