Aram: focusing on foodservice |
Spar has appointed foodservice specialist Tony Aram to the newly created position of foodservice strategy manager.
Aram, who will report directly to Spar managing director Jerry Marwood, was previously managing director of TurboChef UK and latterly commercial manager at ServEquip.
In both roles he was responsible for assisting the introduction of many new foodservice strategies for a number of high-profile customers.
His new role will be to provide Spar RDCs with strategic direction and tactical support in order to grow foodservice sales and margins.
Marwood commented: “This senior appointment reflects the focus we are placing on Foodservice within our business.”
