The Today’s Group has introduced its first ‘recipe’ style promotions leaflet promoting Kitchen King, the group’s private label foodservice range.

The ‘Winter Warmers’ leaflet features three recipes devised by chef Andy Evans, who has previously worked at The Ivy in London, using condiments, herbs and spices, vegetables and pulses from the Kitchen King range.

Chris Beckingham, foodservice trading controller for the Today’s Group commented: “The recipe leaflet was designed to drive sales of the Kitchen King range as well as raise awareness of the diversity of the products within the range.

“We plan to extend the recipe special promotion across two promotional periods, featuring seasonal recipes.”

Phil Oakley, managing director of Today’s member Oakley’s Cash & Carry, commented: “The leaflet has been very well received by our customers as the individual recipes add a personal touch.

“It is a great way of generating interest in Kitchen King and demonstrating to customers how best to use the products.”
