Coors Brewers was this year's winner of the Federation of Wholesale Distributors (FWD) Drinksummit Vase.
This is the third time that the trophy has been awarded. It was presented to Carlsberg in 2004 and InBev in 2005.
This year wholesalers voted in greater numbers than ever before to find the most supportive and innovative drinks supplier to the wholesale/take home independent sector in 2006.
FWD director general John Murphy cited Coors as being: "Outstanding in its category with a high standard of service and it has shown a detailed understanding of the wholesale market. It has given good support in driving sales of key brands with excellent local promotions, availability, prompt deliveries and friendly helpful people."
The award was presented by Murphy and FWD chairman Francis Ball to John Heynan, director of sales for impulse for Coors.
