The Barton Meat Company, 3663's main meat supplier, has opened what it claims is the largest butchers operation for caterers in the UK located in Gorton, Greater Manchester.
This new £5.5m facility supplies meat and "value added" products to hotels, restaurants, pubs and catering companies throughout the UK, with distribution support from 3663.
Senior business operations director Glenn Eastwood said: "The fit-out of this huge premises and transfer from our former location was quite an undertaking. Everyone at the depot did an excellent job."
