Bestway Cash & Carry Group hosted a racing day for 900 people at Royal Ascot in aid of its annual charity. A cheque for £100,000 was presented by Bestway chairman Sir Anwar Pervez to the Pakistan Earthquake Relief Fund. The cheque was received by Dr Maleeha Lodhi, London's High Commissioner for Pakistan. Former jockey John Francome was also present at the presentation.
