Chris Etherington has joined Palmer & Harvey McLane as chief executive. He was previously managing director of the national aftermarket wholesaler Unipart Automotive.
Etherington joins P&H with more than 30 years experience in wholesale and retail distribution. Before working for Unipart, Etherington was managing director for Northern Europe of the FTSE 100 company Alliance Unichem. He headed the leading UK wholesaler to independent and multiple pharmacies and managed the wholesale operations in Holland, Norway and the Czech Republic.
Coinciding with Etherington's appointment, Palmer & Harvey McLane group managing director Graham McPherson has taken on the role of deputy chairman, while Christopher Adams will be continuing his role as chairman.
