Catersummit was launched by the Federation of Wholesale Distributors in 1989 to focus on the importance of the foodservice sector in the wholesale market.
Since the launch, the event has grown in importance with each passing year as a platform for partnerships which work.
This year Catersummit will be held at the Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth, on October 2 and 3, and the programme is at design stage.
The theme again will be based on bringing the supplier, the wholesaler and the caterer closer together, improving communication between the three parties and highlighting the issues of the day.
Key speakers will be announced at a later stage when papers have been confirmed.
The market will be reviewed and the usual Catersummit forecasts and commentary by experts will be in the programme.
"We will again be providing a unique platform for debate and focusing on factors which affect all three groups of players - our members, suppliers and caterers themselves," said FWD director general John Murphy.
The traditional informal eve of conference dinner will again provide a unique networking evening.
