3663 has been recognised with the Investor in Excellence (IIE) standard at its Manchester site.

The Manchester depot, based in Salford, is the first in the company to achieve the standard and 3663 is one of only 50 organisations in the UK to receive the accolade.

Depot general manager Dave Fuller commented, "We are delighted to receive this award. It is a tremendous honour and a great compliment to our team without which it would not have been possible.

"We are a people business and we believe that we have an unmatched understanding of our customers, which enables us to provide a solutions-driven and innovative approach for a premium customer offering. We are pleased that our operation has been recognised with the Investors in Excellence standard and we aim to continue to achieve greater levels of efficiency, best practice and customer care."

IIE is a national recognition programme for organisational excellence.

It is based on the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Excellence Model, and the programme assesses a company's current ability and provides feedback to help it drive towards continuous and sustainable improvement.
