Sheffield is set to become one of the most competitive cash and carry markets in the UK with the addition of a second newly built depot within two years.
Costco will be the latest entrant to the city when it opens a new depot before the end of June. In November 2004 Parfetts opened a £6m depot there, and Batleys, Booker and Makro all operate in the city.
The new Costco depot will be its 18th in the UK and it will be just yards from the Booker and Makro outlets.
