Software and IT services supplier Sanderson has won a contract to supply powerful new servers to support the growth of Channel Islands company Cimandis.
The Cimandis group comprises the LR Trading, Victor Hugo and Bucktrouts companies and supplies both the retail and hospitality industries with a wide range of products including fresh fish, meat and produce, bakery goods, alcohol, soft drinks and tobacco.
The group has been using Sanderson’s Swords software since 1998 and has seen rapid growth since its implementation.
Steve England, IS director at Cimandis, said: “The Sanderson software has enabled us to integrate our business processes during our period of expansion. As a major manufacturer and distributor in the Channel Islands, we supply a broad range of products to an equally broad customer base – it’s essential we have reliable systems to manage the complexities of our business.”
Jackie Taylor, sales director for wholesale distribution at Sanderson, commented: “We are pleased to further our relationship with Cimandis. The new servers will promote further efficiencies, extend current operations and sustain future growth.”
Will Government proposals to ban the display of tobacco in retail premises damage the wholesale sector?
