About 300 suppliers and delegates from the member companies attended Country Range Group’s annual gala dinner and awards ceremony at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton.
Mike Watson, trading director of the group and managing director of member Ilfracombe Foodservice, presented the awards. He said every winner had demonstrated very high standards of service, and had been chosen in a secret ballot of members.
The Best Frozen Food Supplier award went to Lamb Weston, and Pacchini won the Own label Supplier of the Year award having taken its business with the group from £100,000 to £2m in two years.
Branded Supplier of the Year was UBF Foodsolutions, and the Best National Account Manager award was presented to Kim Rawlinson of Aimia Foods.
Turner & Price won the Brandbuilder Award, a new prize voted for by the group’s branded suppliers.
