A search to find six run down high streets to join in a £2.7m revitalisation project is under way. The Agora project, led by the Retail Enterprise Network, based at Manchester Metropolitan University, is calling on wholesalers to encourage local retailers to apply for the programme.
The project, part funded by the European Social Fund, will improve the social, environmental and economic health of selected retail districts and communities in England.
Application forms are online at www.agora.uk.net or from Eve Davies on 0161 247 6048, and should be returned by October 28.
