Sanderson has won a contract to supply radio frequency software to Turner Price.
The deal, worth £20,000, will see Turner Price using Sanderson RF terminals in order to reduce errors and further enhance business efficiencies.
Country Range and Nisa Today’s member Turner Price is a delivered foodservice wholesaler offering a product portfolio in excess of 12,000 lines, and the investment in radio frequency software will benefit the goods in and picking stages of the delivered process.
Linking into Sanderson’s Swords system, the RF technology is set to minimise time consuming paperwork at Turner Price. Order picking will be automated to reduce manual error and cut overall picking time. The RF technology, which uses barcodes for scanning, also facilitates the monitoring of picker performance.
John Gould, director of Turner Price explained: “By streamlining our operation, the Swords software has provided significant improvements to the whole business. Using RF technology in the warehouse will further increase efficiencies.”
