Landmark member Blakemore Wholesale has raised £35,000 for charity following its 13th Celebrity Golf Tournament.
This smashes last year’s previous record of £24,000 and the event has now helped raise more than £185,000 for good causes since its inception.
Thirty-two teams took part at this year’s event at the Forest of Arden Country Club, including representatives from suppliers such as Scottish Courage, Constellation Europe, and Coors.
Winners of the Stableford competition were Hartshorne Motors, who were paired with the former Liverpool and England footballer Phil Neal.
The golf tournament was followed by a gala dinner and cabaret including a charity auction which was organised by snooker player Willie Thorne.
Blakemore Wholesale trading controller Steve Hadley, who organised the event, said: “The day was once again a great success and I’d like to thank everyone who played their part in helping us reach such an amazing total.”
