For the tenth successive year, the annual dinner and Gold Medal awards night of the Federation of Wholesale Distributors is a sell out.

Held at the Savoy Hotel, London, the industry’s biggest night out has again attracted a full house – some suppliers booking their tickets as early as March.

John Murphy, director general of FWD, told ProWholesaler: “The Savoy has its own special magic and again this year we have a full complement of leading wholesalers and manufacturers.

“A waiting list has been set up at our Eastbourne office in the event of cancellations on a first come first served basis,” he added.

The Gold Medals, introduced in 1989 as the first golds in the marketplace, are sponsored this year by Nestlé Rowntree and Landmark.
