Drinksummit, the specific beers, wines and spirits conference presented annually by the Federation of Wholesale Distributors, will feature a unique session this year.
Fixed for June 6-7 at The Stratford Manor Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon, the conference will be entertained by a panel of four drinks industry figures.
Under the theme of “Have I Got Booze for You”, a chairman will put questions to two teams of two, following the pattern established by the Have I Got News for You TV series.
Alan Toft, director general of FWD, said: “The idea is to debate serious issues in a new and unique framework.”
John Searle, trading director at Landmark, will team up with Phil Murry, deputy editor of Off Licence News, and John Mills, senior vice president, off trade sales at Constellation Europe will join Andrew Skingsley drinks editor of IRN.
