Beach: will oversee roll out of Day 1 fascia

Dhamecha Cash & Carry has recruited to strengthen its business development team, and is looking to exploit central buying opportunities with a new head office appointment.

Graham Beach has been appointed to the newly created position of sales manager, moving from Nestlé UK where he was a business account manager.

He will work with the business development executives to oversee expansion of the Privileged Customer Club, which currently has 325 members signed up across Dhamecha’s five depots, and the roll out of the Day 1 fascia.

Dhamecha has also promoted Jitu Dattani to trading controller for groceries and soft drinks at head office, where he will report to trading director Mukesh Vithlani. He was previously assistant manager/buyer at the Barking branch.

Chief executive Pradip Dhamecha said the group had grown to a size where there where opportunities for central buying, and Dattani’s appointment to a role at head office would facilitate this.
