The Sterling Supergroup buying group has recruited two new members, Waterdene Foodservice and Worldman Wholesale, adding £7m to the £460m aggregate turnover of its members.

Waterdene Foodservice is a family owned business with a turnover of £5m trading out of premises in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. The company delivers frozen, chilled and ambient products to caterers based in East Anglia, London, the Home Counties and the Midlands.

Worldman Wholesale, of Mitcham in Surrey, started trading in November 2004 and expects to turnover approximately £2m in its first year of trading.

It offers both a cash and carry and delivered service and supplies a wide range of products
