Booker’s Premier symbol group is advertising in the national press for the first time, to build consumer awareness and help members grow their businesses.

The advert will appear in The Sun on the March 9, and will feature a number of Premier’s promotions to attract new consumers and drive footfall into Premier stores.

“Premier is dedicated to the success of our members,” said Steve Fox, head of Premier. “This is the start of a programme of brand building throughout the coming months to help our members increase sales. We realise the importance of developing Premier.”

The move follows the recent launch of the Premier Local Marketing Toolkit, which every member received. It provides a template for retailers to produce advertising in regional and local newspapers and a step-by-step guide on how to market stores.

“At Premier, we want to provide more than products on the shelves,” said Fox. “We are committed to providing a complete support network.”
