Consumers who have contacted Merrydown to say how much they enjoyed its ciders are being invited to become "ambassadors" for the brand, arranging cider and food tastings with friends and relatives and giving their feedback to Merrydown.
Managing director Chris Carr said: "The idea of ambassadors came about because we receive so much feedback from loyal customers on a regular basis.
"One of the main thrusts of our marketing campaign this year is to show how well Merrydown Vintage Dry and Medium ciders go with food, such as curry.
"We give the ambassadors advice on how, when and where to hold an event, plus notes on the food and Merrydown matchings, and they do the rest.
"We reward them with free Merrydown for the next party and personalised T-shirts."
