Alveston Kitchens, part of Heinz Foodservice, is launching a new range of desserts in time for Christmas.
Heinz Foodservice says nearly one in three diners prefer almost anything to traditional Christmas pud, with young people disliking it most - 53% of 16 to 24-year-olds say no to Christmas pud.
Responding to this demand, Alveston Kitchens is offering Cranberry and Orange Brulee Cheesecake, Nougat Roulade with Brandy Cream, Black Forest Meringue Roulade and Chocolate and Orange Trifle.
Heinz Foodservice says the expansion of its Alveston Kitchens range is designed to give wholesalers a single point of contact for an even wider product selection.
Phil Jones, director of Heinz Foodservice, said: "Part of our three-year strategic plan is to actively develop different categories of the business which have the potential for sustainable growth. We are starting with Alveston Kitchens, a respected successful frozen range steeped in heritage."
