Trevors Warehouses, a foodservice wholesaler in Blackpool, is investing in the Accord system from Business Computer Projects (BCP).
The 14 user Accord system handles all aspects of Trevors business. Trevors has been computerised for many years and its latest IT solution was successful across most of the business, but limited in two areas - telesales and purchase ordering. Trevors chose the complete Accord system from BCP which includes purchasing, sales order management, stock control, telesales and financial accounting, aiming to give Trevors a fully integrated system covering all aspects of the business.
Gary Hitchen, managing director of Trevors, said: "Accord's purchasing and telesales features are light years ahead of anything else we've seen. We knew fellow Country Range members were very happy with it, but seeing it in action at Creed Catering clinched it for us. We are confident Accord will help us to grow our business successfully and, longer term, expect to expand on our initial investment."
The system is due to go live at the end of November.
