Cash prizes and trophies have been awarded to staff at Batleys Cash and Carry who have demonstrated the best approach to their work throughout its 19 depots.
Announcing the winners at the annual awards, operations director Martin Race said: "The pressure is on everyone to perform at their very best and I am delighted to be able to single out these five people at Batleys for the terrific contribution they have made to the success of the business as a whole during the past financial year."
Each prize winner was presented with a trophy and a cash prize, which in some instances is presented to the staff social club, so all members of the branch staff can share in the reward.
David Bolam, depot manager of Cleveland, was presented with the depot of the year trophy and £3,000, and the runner-up of depot of the year, winning £1,500, was Birmingham.
The most improved depot of the year, winning £1,000, was Liverpool. Charlotte John, financial accounts manager at the Huddersfield office, won the head office manager of the year award and £1,000, and depot manager of the year was Anton Jones, general manager of the newly opened Gillingham branch, who won £1,000.
