Barnstaple retailer Lesley Brown presented Toft with a new history of Manchester City, his home town club. She said the campaign had inspired retailers to go back to basics and engage with their communities.

"The campaign has encouraged suppliers and wholesalers to provide a level of support not heard of before in the independent sector. It has put my business back on an upward trend and renewed my enthusiasm to motivate my team to greater things," said Lesley.
