Coors Brewers won the FWD Drinksummit Vase, which was presented at the conference last month.
The award is designed to reward the drinks company FWD members believe to be the most supportive and innovative in the sector over the part year.
John Murphy, director general of FWD, said that it had almost been a photo finish race with one wholesaler's vote deciding the matter. "Our winner had wholesalers cheering throughout the year for their consumer advertising, price-marked packs and most importantly, their policy of supplying only to legitimate outlets."
The award was presented by Murphy and FWD chairman Francis Ball to channel director - wholesale of Coors Brewers, Tom Maclennan.
Maclennan said: "The Coors wholesale team really appreciate the recognition from the members and will continue to listen, collaborate and deliver initiatives that drive profitable growth that help to sustain prosperous wholesale and independent trade channels."
