Unilever has launched its Essential Seven Campaign, based around what it considers to be its most important sauce varieties and which also boast the flexibility to offer a variety of menu options.
From a range of 34 prepared ethnic sauces, Knorr recommends seven. The Essential Seven range comprises Korma, Tikka Masala, Sweet & Sour, Black Bean, Bolognese, Tomato & Basil and Sweet Hickory BBQ.
Laurence Smith, category marketing director of Unilever Foodsolutions, said: "The selection of sauces is based on market research and reflects the nation's favourite cuisines eaten out of home. Using this range of Knorr sauces means chefs can offer their customers any of the seven meals which make up part of the top ten meals served out-of-home without the need to purchase and store expensive, multiple ingredients."
