Vintners celebrate launch of renamed buying group

The Society of Vintners celebrated its launch last month at the London International Wine Fair with a tasting hosted by its principal supplier of Bordeaux, Yvon Mau.
The Society of Vintners Ltd is a buying group, formerly known as the National Wine Buying Group (NWBG), which has recently added five new members and announced its turnover has increased for the fifth successive year.
The group has 22 members around the country, all of which are family-owned businesses involved in wine wholesaling, and members can source over 50 exclusive wines from stocks that are held in The Society's UK bond.
