Batleys Cash and Carry, part of the Bestway Group, has opened its latest pet products only depot - Bestpets - in Bristol.
The 15,000sq ft depot, stocks 5,000 pet product lines and is expected to draw customers from Wiltshire, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Dorset and the Oxfordshire/Worcestershire borders as well as Wales. The range includes petfoods and treats, toys, beds and bedding for every type of pet.
General manager Allen Brown said: "This is a very exciting development in the life of the Bestpets brand and we will be marking the opening of the new depot with a number of strong, exclusive offers, free samples and competitions including one with a prize of a free shop fascia."
Martin Race, operations director of Batleys, said: "With Bestpets, we are capitalising on the British love of pets, offering the best range of products you'll find anywhere. The opening of this branch of Bestpets, which is the ninth in the group, marks a very exciting stage in the development of what has turned into a fantastic concept.
