3663 has secured a multi-million pound contract to distribute frozen, ambient and chilled products to Subway's estate of more than 1,000 stores across Great Britain.
Andrew Selley, managing director of 3663's logistics business, said: "The Subway chain is one of the fastest growing retailers in the UK and we are delighted to be appointed distributor for its stores. The chain has ambitious expansion plans, with aims to open 2,010 stores across the UK and Ireland by 2010. The win is testament to 3663's ability to understand and adapt to our clients' diverse business needs in a fickle market environment."
Dominique Billes, supply chain director at the EIPC Ltd, the organisation responsible for managing purchasing and supply chain activity on behalf of Subway franchisees in Europe, added: "Following an extensive review process, the contract for distribution in Great Britain was awarded to 3663 based on its ability to meet both the current and future needs of the Subway business."
