Creed Catering Suppliers has acquired fruit, vegetable and speciality foods wholesaler Mise en Place.
Cardston, which trades as Mise en Place, is based in Cirencester and supplies catering establishments in the Cotswolds.
Stephen Wheeler, former managing director of Mise en Place, will continue with the business as sales and operations director. He said: "Mise en Place will continue to operate as a stand-alone business. Our philosophy of providing great quality and service will of course continue, but with the added benefit of Creed's expertise."
Chris Creed, managing director of Creed Catering Suppliers, said: "We can now offer our customers a range of excellent quality fruit and vegetables, as well as speciality and local foods, available for next-day delivery, six days a week.
"Fresh produce is something we have been looking at for a while and after considerable research we have found the ideal partner."
