Palmer and Harvey has won a £25m annual contract to supply Tesco's One Stop group of c-stores with medium- and long-life chilled products.

Palmer and Harvey has been responsible for the delivery of One Stop's frozen products over the last three years, and this contract win extends its remit to encompass the entire long-life chilled product requirements across One Stop's 507 stores.

Nigel Taylor, director of distribution sales, said: "We are committed to extending our chilled offering to help our customers meet the demands and derive the benefits of the increasing growth in the convenience sector.

"Our collaborative approach and emphasis on developing close working partnerships has resulted in Palmer and Harvey successfully supplying chilled products to a growing number of multiple and independent outlets. Today's news adds further momentum to our efforts to become the chilled and fresh supplier of choice."
