Johnson will be responsible for overseeing the progress and development of the Hot House store redevelopment programme and co-ordinating the retail development management team, based nationwide. He will be replacing Darren Pugh who has moved to Landmark Wholesale's trading team.

Johnson was previously with AF Blakemore for over 25 years, working on the retail side, including Blakemore's Spar division.

Johnson said: "This is taking my previous position one step further, store redevelopment on a national scale."
