Building work on new offices for Landmark Wholesale is due to begin this week.
Speaking at the FWD annual conference, Landmark Wholesale marketing director Ian Davidson revealed that the buying group's board had given the go ahead for construction of purpose-built offices.
The group will still be based in Milton Keynes, but the new offices will be 40% larger to provide space for expansion of the trading department and Landmark's EIS system.
The current offices are rented, but the new ones will be freehold. Davidson said: "This represents a significant investment using members money." The move to the new offices is due to take place at the end of this year.
Will Government proposals to ban the display of tobacco in retail premises damage the wholesale sector?
