Manish Dhamecha, chief executive officer of Dhamecha Cash & Carry, was elected chairman of Today's Group's Wholesale Council during the Group's Annual Conference in Prague.

== CRG grows strongly ==

Country Range Group has revealed that own brand sales for the year to December 31 2007 were up 16.82% on the previous year, and branded sales were up 13.76% over the same period.

CRG managing director Colin Birchall said all 18 members of the group had seem similarly successful results and that the growth had continued into the new year.
