Confectionery company Sweet Cred has struck a distribution deal with news wholesalers Menzies Distribution, Smiths News and Dawson News.
Menzies said it will distribute flyers to its customers then allocate and deliver products in the same way as its sticker and album products. It sees itself as complementary to confectionery wholesalers as in the past it has introduced products which were subsequently purchased from confectionery suppliers.
Smiths said it will be distributing the products on a monthly basis as sale or return products. Each month will have a different product and three of these product lines will only be available to the three news wholesalers.
