Booker has announced progress on its integration of Blueheath into the overall business and has also made a number of enhancements to services for its wider customer base.
Mark Aylwin, managing director of Booker Direct, said: "From mid-March Blueheath will be renamed as Booker Direct. This will give a clear identity for our delivered wholesale business and I am confident our customers will see real benefits."
The service improvements include online credit card payments, extensions to branch opening hours in addition to those made in the autumn, and free delivery.
Credit card charges have been abolished and deliveries will be available seven days a week.
Will Government proposals to ban the display of tobacco in retail premises damage the wholesale sector?
