One piece of advice to help suppliers succeed with us:

give us your best prices! Take full advantage of retail club opportunities

The best promotion currently running with customers is: Pepsi 2-Litre BOGOF

My vote for the best TV/press advertising: John Smiths (Peter

Kay)

My vote for the best product launch/relaunch this year goes to: Oust Air Freshener and Aero Bubbles (if you can get the stock!)

Gripe of the month: increasingly the consolidation of brands into fewer suppliers often means an account handler is expected to have knowledge of an extensive range of categories and becomes a jack of all trades, master of none.

When suppliers introduce a proliferation of promotion SKUs for one product they must recognise the timescales involved in getting a pack through the supply chain. The more variation of packs, the greater the confusion for both the wholesaler and retailer.
