Landmark Wholesale has announced that Brian Metcalfe, purchasing director of DBC Foodservice, has been appointed the group's new vice-chairman.
Metcalfe will replace Michael Lorimer who stepped down last year after his departure from Henderson Foodservice. Metcalfe will assist Steve Parfett of Parfetts Cash & Carry who is chairman.
Martin Williams, managing director of Landmark Wholesale, said: "The election of Brian as vice-chairman is extremely timely as Landmark Wholesale continues to place more focus and importance on the foodservice and catering side of the group. We are delighted Brian has been elected to this role to continue Michael Lorimer's work in this area. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Michael for his previous work and wish him success in the future."
