JW Filshill was named Champion of Champions for the third year at the Scottish Wholesale Achievers awards.
The Achievers was launched by the Scottish Wholesale Association (SWA) to reward professionalism, excellence and improving standards across all sectors of the wholesale industry in Scotland.
Filshill took the Champion of Champions title and judges praised 'consistency and professionalism' at all stages throughout the competition. This involved anonymous visits as well as lengthy interviews with key managers and feedback from customers. Filshill also won Best Licensed Wholesaler (Off-Trade) and Best Retail Wholesaler (Delivered).
Best Cash & Carry Depot was won by Booker Dumferline, Best Cash & Carry Catering was won by Bellevue. CJ Lang picked up the award for Best Retail Development Programme and Costco won Best Marketing Initiative. Best Foodservice Wholesaler (Delivered) was won by 3663 and 3663 Newbridge was presented with Best Training Programme. Best Licensed Wholesaler (On-Trade) was awarded to Gordon & MacPhail and Denis Shepherd of Martex Dundee was the Employee of the Year.
