Jacksons of Piccadilly has announced the launch of its range of premium Fairtrade teas to the out of home market.
The range includes Mainstream Tea, Pure Kenyan, Pure Darjeeling, Ceylon Earl Grey, Assam, Green Tea with Lime and Green Tea with Elderflower.
According to Jacksons, currently 34% of Fairtrade tea is sold out of home and caterers are demanding Fairtrade products.
Andrea Stopher, senior trade marketing manager, said: "The Fairtrade market is worth over £25m as customers become increasingly ethically minded Previously, caterers offering Fairtrade teas lost out on taste as the teas were chosen on their sourcing integrity. Jacksons has blended teas that are Fairtrade Certified and premium quality and taste."
