Iain Hill has been confirmed as vice-president of the Scottish Wholesale Association (SWA).
Hill is the managing director of wholesaler Iain Hill Ltd, based in Ayrshire, and specialises in the delivery of crisps, snacks, soft drinks and confectionery.
Hill has been a council member for several years and was a speaker at the SWA Annual Conference last year. He will take over as president in June when current president Norman Wemyss, freetrade sales and business development director at 3663, steps down at the annual conference.
Hill said: "It is a huge honour to be elected president of the SWA. It is a role that will bring with it tremendous responsibility and challenges."
Will Government proposals to ban the display of tobacco in retail premises damage the wholesale sector?
