Alfa is a cash and carry wholesaler based in Glasgow and STL will supply it with its tilling solution.

STL offers fully integrated end to end software solutions with software applications providing merchandise management for both single and multi-branch operators, as well as a tilling (EPOS) applications designed to meet the specific requirements of the wholesale sector.

Zahid Nasim, managing director of Alfa Wholesale, said: "We were looking to upgrade our tilling system and we believe we have struck an excellent deal with STL. We have worked with them for some time and they fully understand our requirements and the needs of the whole system. The support we receive for the backroom team is first class."

STL managing director Ivan Durkin said: "We are delighted to be able to announce this contract with Alfa.
