Blakemore Food Service, hosted its fourth annual Catering Awards celebrating catering excellence in the private and profit sectors.
The winner for the public sector category was Kingsway School, Stockport, and the award for the private sector went to the Rose & Crown Pub, Brockenhurst, Hampshire.
Blakemore received 200 separate entries and each one was visited by an independent assessor. Submissions were received in five separate categories, Best Menu, Marketing Your Business, Customer Service, Catering Personality and Your Catering Team. Shortlists were then drawn up for each category before choosing an overall winner.
Jim Dudley, sales & marketing director of Blakemore Food Service, said: "It was an extremely difficult exercise to whittle down the many excellent entries that we received into our category shortlist. The awards night is a great way for our customers, suppliers and employees to get together and celebrate our mutual success."
