Parfetts Cash & Carry, a member of Landmark Wholesale, has appointed Chris Walker as operations manager for its Stockport depot.
His role at Parfetts involves overlooking the day-to-day running of the depot, liaising with customers on the depot floor and ensuring the safe and smooth operating of the warehouse during trading hours.
Walker joins from Booker Cash & Carry where he had almost 15 years of depot management experience working in various roles, including checkout supervisor, buying assistant and deputy general manager.
Walker said: "I have worked within the independent wholesale industry for many years, and therefore know Parfetts Cash & Carry well. I have always been impressed by how the family run business has developed and grown over the years, so to join the Stockport team is a great opportunity.
"The role allows me one to one contact with our customers, and to work closely as part of the team to keep moving Parfetts Cash & Carry forward."
