Today's Group will be celebrating its 2008 Trade Event Days with a celebrity theme.
Emphasising its 21st anniversary, the event is named Today's Group 21 and will feature look-a-likes of Del Boy, Bruce Forsyth, Elvis and Cher appearing in depots.
Speaking at the supplier presentation, held at Madame Tussauds, Rodney Hunt, managing director of the Today's Group, praised the Trade Event Days in 2007.
He said: "Thirty two members have taken part throughout 2007, and along the way, the depots managed to raise over £30,000 for local charities."
Hunt also mentioned the response from Today's members. "At Dhamecha, Mukesh Vithlani was delighted at the results, with three of his five depots achieving their best-ever trading days. Crown Cash & Carry increased business not only on the day, but in the build-up towards the event as well as afterwards, an important point that it doesn't take business away from other days. Sucha Singh, at Thames Cash & Carry, made the point that these events bring back customers who had maybe strayed to other cash and carries."
